Getting Started

Log in:

- Go to http://www.totalsend.com, click at the top-right of the screen on “Customer Login”, and fill in your log in details.
 

Create a list: 

- Click on the green button “Create New List”, at the top-right of the screen.
- Give the list a name, and click on the green button “Create List”.
(Note: You can create several lists if you would like to)

Add subscribers:

- Click on “Lists” at the left top of the screen. - Click on the list which you would like to add subscribers/email addresses to. - Click on the green button “Add subscribers” at the top right of the screen. - Then choose how you want to add your subscribers: by “Copy and paste”, by “Subscriber form”, by “File upload”, by “Internal MySQL database”. - Proceed to add the subscribers by your chosen method and map the fields to their corresponding value (i.e. [email protected] >> Email Address  |  John Doe >> Name)

Create a Campaign:

- Click on “Campaigns” at the left top of the screen. - Click on the green button “Create New Campaign”, at the top right of the screen. - Give the Campaign a name, select the List(s) of subscribers/email addresses you want to send that campaign to, and then click at the bottom on the green button “Create Campaign and Edit Campaign Email”. (If you want to select more than one list, hold “control” while clicking. Hold “command” on a Mac) - Then choose how you want to create your campaign: “From scratch”, “Template Gallery”, “Previous Campaign”, or “Fetch URL”. - Once you have chosen one, you can create your campaign by just following the simple steps which the system shows you. - At the Step “Review” you can send a preview email to yourself by selecting “Send a preview email to yourself”, filling in your email address, and clicking on the green button “Send Preview Email”. Then you can see whether you like the way it displays in an email client before you really send it. - When you like how it’s displaying, click at the bottom on “Next”. - Select when you want to send it or “saved as draft”, and click at the bottom on the “Save” button. You can view the results of your campaign after the emails have all been sent.
